We opened our beautiful movement studio in April 2022. We are located at 1217 Canyon Street in the heart of downtown Creston. We have a small space of about 700 square feet which allows a maximum of 10-12 students for movement classes and 12-15 for yoga depending on the class.

Parking

There is plenty of parking on the street and in the two large public lots behind the CIBC one block over.

Floors and Studio Cleaning

Our studio has been renovated with a brand new heating and air conditioning system with high quality air filtration. We sanitize the bathroom, touch points and door handles, and vacuum after each class and do a deep floor and studio clean once per week. Our floor is a giant MAT! This means we cant allow shoes in class unless your shoes are soft soled, indoor shoes only. Students love our mat floor so much they tell us it has healed their foot pain and plantar fasciitis. It provides a soft, springy surface which is excellent for your joints and teaches you to use your core stability even more. Plus, during yoga and other positions, your bonier joints won't feel as much pressure!

Community Events and Studio Bookings

Our studio is available to rent for community get togethers, workshops, private sessions and classes that fit into our values and mission. Please note our space is a shoes off space to protect our beautiful brand new floors. Please contact us for more information by email.

Studio and Booking Polices Waiver: Please note you will need to sign a paper liability waiver once a year. This also includes emergency contact information. Please sign below stating you understand our booking and cancelation policy. Registration & Booking All classes, workshops, and series should be booked in advance through our online booking system. Showing up at the door is welcome when space allows, but pre-registration is recommended to secure your spot, otherwise the class may be full. This also allows us to notify you should anything change or class is canceled. Payment Payment can be made for Alanna's classes online via credit car, by e-transfer or cash. For all other teachers, you can e-transfer or bring cash. Most teachers offer a class pass. Prices are subject to change with notice. Cancellations Please login to your account to cancel or reschedule instead of reaching out to your teacher. Cancellations made 2 hours or more before the scheduled class time will be credited back to your account except in courses where no shows are not credited unless discussed with your teacher. If you paid by credit card you must contact us and you will receive a refund, not a credit. • Cancellations made within 2 hours of class start time are considered late and are non-refundable. No-Shows If you do not attend a booked class without cancelling, the class will be deducted from your pass. Please be thoughtful and cancel with enough notice to give others time to book your spot. Workshops & Special Events Workshops, series, and special events often require a higher level of commitment and preparation. These bookings are non-refundable, unless otherwise stated. If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your spot to another person with prior notice to the studio. Waitlists If a class is full, you may add yourself to the waitlist. If a spot opens, you will be automatically enrolled and notified by email. Please remove yourself from the waitlist if you can no longer attend. Class Passes & Memberships Class passes are non-transferable and non-refundable. Expiry dates apply and are clearly stated at the time of purchase. Studio Policy Arrival & Punctuality Please arrive 5–10 minutes early to settle in. To support a safe and uninterrupted experience, late arrivals may not be admitted once class has begun. Respectful Community Embody Movement Studio is a welcoming, inclusive space. We ask all participants to move with respect for themselves, others, and the shared space. Discrimination, harassment, or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated. Listening to Your Body All classes are offered with the invitation to move at your own pace. Please honour your body, rest when needed, and inform the instructor of any injuries, health concerns, or relevant conditions before class. Consent & Touch Hands-on assists or touch-based guidance may be offered in some classes and will always be optional and consent-based. You are encouraged to communicate your preferences clearly. Barefoot & Attire Most classes are practiced barefoot unless otherwise specified. If you need to wear shoes, they must be non marrking, very clean indoor shoes. Please wear comfortable clothing that allows for free movement. Personal Belongings Please store shoes, bags, and coats in designated area at the front cubbies. Embody Movement Studio is not responsible for lost or stolen items. We do have a lost and found area to the left of the cubbies. Cleanliness & Care Help us care for our shared space by returning any props you use neatly after class. Health & Hygiene If you are feeling unwell, we kindly ask that you stay home and rest. This helps keep our community healthy and supported. Photography & Recording Photography or recording during classes is not permitted without prior consent from the instructor and all participants.
