Service Description
This one-hour Yin Yoga with Embodiment and Somatic practices class invites you to slow down, unwind, and come home to yourself. Practiced by candlelight, we’ll move gently into soft, longer-held poses that encourage deep release and spaciousness in the body. Somatic techniques and embodiment practices guide you to sense your inner landscape—listening, feeling, and responding with care. As we soften the pace, tension will unravel and the nervous system will sooth, creating space for deep rest and renewal, and the opportunity for your joints and fascia to open and relax. Leave feeling grounded, open, and quietly restored. This class is led by Alanna, founder of Embody Movement Studio. Alanna brings over 38 years of dance and movement experience and has been teaching dance and somatics for 12 years. She is a certified Feminine Embodiment Coach and a Black Belt Nia teacher, and is currently undertaking her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training certification. Her teaching weaves depth, presence, and compassionate guidance to support a truly nourishing experience. Ages 14+ Please bring a yoga mat and a closed top water bottle. Props and blankets are provided but feel free to bring your own.

Cancellation Policy
Prepaid classes and absence from classes are non-refundable unless: 1. It is canceled by the studio 2. You are unwell or have been exposed to Covid Class Passes are non-refundable, non-extendable, and non-transferable to other persons. They are subject to limits of time. Please cancel on your end within 2 hours of class so others can fill your spot. Passes are honored until their expiration date. Passes can be extended by the studio only if classes are reduced significantly or canceled.
