Service Description

If you are wanting a more in depth exploration and breakdown of the Nia 52 moves, this workshop is for you. Learn the structure, anatomy, benefits and purpose behind each move and practice them so that they become part of your muscle memory and when taking Nia classes, you can be less in your head and more in your body sensations and joy. There are 27 base moves including stances, steps and kicks. 7 Core moves such as Spinal Roll, Hip Circles and Hip Bumps. And 18 upper extremities moves including blocks, punches, hand techniques. These moves are simple in of of themselves and form the foundation for every Nia class. There are endless ways to combine the moves into the routines you have grown to love. The more you learn what the moves are called, how to do them safely and practice them, you can develop body literacy that will help you feel confident and comfortable as you progress through your Nia journey.

Cancellation Policy

Prepaid classes and absence from classes are non-refundable unless: 1. It is canceled by the studio 2. You are unwell or have been exposed to Covid Class Passes are non-refundable, non-extendable, and non-transferable to other persons. They are subject to limits of time. Please cancel on your end within 2 hours of class so others can fill your spot. Passes are honored until their expiration date. Passes can be extended by the studio only if classes are reduced significantly or canceled.
